The Catalyst Center has a unique approach when completing psychological assessments for clients. Our specific Assessment Team meets for a weekly consultation and consists of five Licensed Clinical Psychologists and one Psychologist Candidate. When any of our providers are working on an assessment case, six professionals review the findings, consider interpretive hypotheses, and even help build or refine testing batteries to capture the correct information to address the goals for testing. This is not a very common model, and it offers our clients unique opportunities to have additional depth, diverse perspectives, and more clarity from a team-supported approach to assessment.

Our Assessment Team regularly takes on cases that can be highly complex, and our team approach ensures that we can effectively meet the needs of these clients. These cases could need in-depth differential diagnosis, special trauma screening, and even inform recommendations for treatment with an ongoing therapy provider. Having a highly experienced and specialty-trained group of clinicians look at the same data can deepen the interpretative potential and ensure clients receive accurate and helpful feedback from their assessment.

Our providers on the Assessment Team regularly pursue various trainings or certifications that enhance the depth and breadth of testing options available at our practice. For example, two of our assessment providers were recently trained on specialty tools used to assess for Autism Spectrum Disorder, which now allows that service to be offered by our team. Combining this with our already robust list of specialty testing options helps enhance how we can serve clients and get them moving in their desired directions. As each provider grows in individual expertise areas, the combined knowledge pool helps enrich the clarity and precision offered through testing.

The Catalyst Center has taken a thoughtful approach to assessment and seeks to maximize the opportunities created by a group practice model. This means that we are methodical and deliberate in our approach to performing assessments and believe this is best done through a collaborative community of aligned professionals. We hope you will reach out with questions about our assessment offerings or to discuss whether an assessment is right for you. Contact us at 720-675-7123.
