The days are slowly stretching longer. The sun lingers a bit more each evening, and there’s a subtle yet undeniable shift in the air. Trees are budding, birds are singing more confidently, and life is stirring.
Spring in Colorado: A Season of Contrasts
Here in Colorado, we know that spring is never straightforward. March and April often surprise us with snow—just when we’re beginning to dream of sandals and sunshine. Still, beneath the snow, something soft and new is awakening.
And I feel it—not just in the air, but in the core of my being.
This time of year always feels like a return to warmth, movement, and vitality. It’s the perfect season for a shift in our yoga practice—a time to embrace renewal in both body and spirit.
Practices to Support Energy and Expansion
When I think of yoga for renewal, I think of practices that invite energy and expansion:
- Sun salutations to warm and awaken
- Heart openers to remind us what it feels like to lead with courage
- Gentle movement to coax us back into our bodies after a long, cold winter
I also think of kapalabhati—fire breath—a breath practice that quite literally sparks energy within. It’s a powerful tool for shaking off sluggishness and calling ourselves back to life.
Spring Yoga Classes: Designed for Renewal
This spring, I invite you to join me for a season of practice centered around renewal. In April and May, our yoga classes will help us feel more open, expansive, and alive.

- Returning to your mat after a pause
- Craving deeper connection and vitality
- Seeking mindful movement and breath
These sessions offer space to breathe, move, and awaken.
A Personalized Practice for Every Body
It’s my honor to guide you. Throughout our time together, I’ll encourage you to listen to your own body. You’re always invited to modify, pause, or shift into a different shape when it feels right.
All levels are welcome.
