Specializing in Trauma Therapy
Lauren has dedicated her career to guiding individuals on their journey of healing from trauma. She firmly believes that all clients can achieve lasting healing and specializes in helping individuals with complex trauma, co-occurring conditions, grief and loss, and chronic illness. Lauren also utilizes EMDR as a powerful therapeutic intervention in combination with providing a safe therapeutic space. As a trauma therapist and member of our Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy team, she finds that KAP can be a powerful agent for healing and transformation.
Hear from Lauren
I have always been curious about how we as humans overcome adversity, build resiliency and connect with our own inner healing intelligence.
In my work as a therapist, I primarily work with individuals navigating trauma, complex trauma, terminal illness and end of life, and co-occurring disorders like chronic health issues, eating disorders, and addiction.
KAP, and other psychedelic medicines, are particularly exciting because it benefits clients through two mechanisms. The combined neurobiological benefits of the medication and the experience of a therapeutic non-ordinary state of consciousness create an ideal and powerful setting for our inner healers to emerge.
Through this work, clients build a stronger relationship to themselves and increase self-compassion. As trust and confidence in themselves improve, so does our ability to process the past and create lasting change in the present.
I am honored to walk alongside individuals on their healing journey and find this work profoundly inspiring and rewarding.
