Heidi Streicher, MA, is an advanced graduate student in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at the University of Denver. At The Catalyst Center, Heidi brings compassion, curiosity, and a trauma-informed lens to her work with clients of all ages. She incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Humanistic approaches into her work with clients, and is building advanced skills in EMDR therapy to support trauma recovery. Heidi has a strong background in group therapy, psychoeducation, and therapeutic assessment, and is passionate about supporting clients as they move toward greater self-understanding, healing, and growth.

Hear from Heidi

I believe therapy is about creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment and without having to hold it all together. When we sit down together, my hope is that you feel both supported and understood, and that we can explore not only the challenges you’re facing but also the strengths and values that guide you.

I often think of myself as a guide walking alongside you on part of your journey. Together, we’ll identify what matters most to you and develop the tools, insight, and resilience that will support you moving forward. Therapy with me is collaborative—we work as a team—and I bring warmth, authenticity, and sometimes a bit of humor to help make the process feel safe and approachable.

What I love most about being a therapist is witnessing growth and transformation. It is deeply meaningful to see clients gain clarity, heal from painful experiences, and begin to move through life in ways that feel intentional and aligned with who they are. Whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, or simply trying to understand yourself more fully, I’m here to walk with you through the process.
