Here at the Catalyst Center, we are always looking for ways to improve our service and do our best to think ahead, with you in mind. We value mental health care and do not want you to miss out on your care due to snow, illness, or other issues that might arise that could prevent you from coming in. To this end, we have set up an option to provide remote video-conference therapy using a virtual program.

While we typically see you face to face, we understand that illness, threat of illness, or other unforeseen events may sometimes prevent that. Our virtual program allows you and your therapist to work remotely, it is safe, secure, and HIPAA compliant. In the event you are not able to or prefer not to attend a therapy session in person, or if Denver experiences severe weather or other events restrict our ability to see you in person, you can use this program to meet with your therapist remotely during your regular appointment time. It is easy and can be used with any smartphone, tablet, or computer with a webcam.

New clients can choose to start therapy remotely and existing clients can choose at any time to switch to remote therapy appointments.

We are taking steps in our office to combat the spread of illness. Our staff are practicing good hand hygiene, washing our hands or using hand sanitizer between sessions and throughout the day. Daily we use antiseptic to wipe down all door knobs, light switches, and the coffee / tea area. We are disinfecting all toys and other items in the playroom and sand tray room regularly.

You can help to protect yourself and others by attending therapy remotely if you feel ill, covering your mouth and nose with a tissue when you sneeze or cough, and washing your hands before and after sessions, especially if you are participating in play therapy or sand tray therapy. Parents, we would appreciate your assistance in helping your children wash hands before and after their therapy sessions.

We know that it can be challenging to arrange childcare when schools are closed or if winter weather becomes an issue. Please communicate with your therapist about how best we can meet your needs.

We are committed to doing everything we can to provide continuous access to mental healthcare to our clients during these trying times.

Please reach out with any questions or concerns. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated.
